FLORETTE switches to solar self-consumption with TSE

The group's first transformation site in France equipped with a photovoltaic power plant

FLORETTE, TSE and NEOSOL are proud to announce the commissioning of a tracker-type photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption installed on the FLORETTE site in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. This installation provides 25% of the plant's electrical needs.

A first in France for FLORETTE in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (84)

Located on an area of 2 hectares, the photovoltaic power plant developed by TSE has a power of 0.91 MWp for an annual production of 1,750 MWh. The device covers 25% of the site's electrical needs, with 96% of the energy produced consumed on site, avoiding the emission of 66 tons of CO₂ per year.

The project is based on technology from Tracker, panels that are mobile on an axis following the course of the sun, particularly adapted to the consumption profile of the industrial site. By widening the photovoltaic production curve, this solution allows to optimize electricity production in the morning and in the evening, in line with the needs of the factory.

A model at the service of industrial competitiveness

In order to support the economic performance of the site, FLORETTE and TSE have adopted a third-party investment model. This system is based on the operation of a turnkey photovoltaic power plant, fully operated and maintained by TSE over a period of 20 years. This project allows FLORETTE to benefit from a stable electricity price, uncorrelated to the volume of electricity produced, while reducing its use of the network through self-consumption.

Supporting French industry through green and local energy

A leading player in solar energy in France and member of French Tech, TSE supports manufacturers in their strategy for decarbonizing and securing their energy supply.

Yann Debernardy, Industrial Convergence Director at TSE explains:
“This project illustrates TSE's advance in mastering technologies that improve the production curve in order to meet the needs as closely as possible. It renews the confidence of the Agrial group, which we are proud to be partners of, and serves the competitiveness of our industry. While the know-how of our teams allowed, with the support of the community, the rapid development of the power plant, we also owe its success to the exemplary collaboration with the Isle-sur-la-Sorgue site and our partners Schneider and Neosol.”
