Solar energy: TSE strengthens its commitments and achieves B Corp certification

TSE announces B Corp certification TM

An international recognition awarded by the independent organization B Lab to companies meeting high standards in social and environmental performance, transparency, and governance.

This certification, achieved with a score of 88.2 across all its activities and subsidiaries, acknowledges several commitments already implemented by TSE, particularly regarding biodiversity, supply chain responsibility, and the continuous improvement of its practices.

Among the commitments implemented by the company:

  • No projects under development in biodiversity-sensitive areas, such as national parks, nature reserves, Natura 2000 sites, or Type I ZNIEFFs;
  • Third year of partnership with the PatriNat unit of the National Museum of Natural History (MNHN) to integrate ecological pre-diagnosis tools using robust data and apply biodiversity monitoring for power plants with a global indicator (the Ecological Quality Index, EQI);
  • Contribution to the WWF Nature Impact fund, dedicated to protecting forest biodiversity and carbon sequestration. After five projects selected in 2024, representing 5,400 hectares, seven new projects joined the initiative in 2025;
  • Evaluation of our photovoltaic panel suppliers based on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria;
  • 100% of our buyers involved in equipment acquisition for power plants are trained in responsible procurement, to strengthen the consideration of CSR issues in its supply chain.

Mathieu Debonnet, President of TSE, and Pierre-Yves Lambert, CEO, state:

"TSE is a company fundamentally committed to fighting climate change, preserving biodiversity, and ensuring energy sovereignty. These commitments are demonstrated not only through our core business as a developer and producer of decarbonized, French, and competitive energy, but also through ambitious practices, particularly in procurement, and CSR procedures. We are very proud of this certification, which rewards our vision and commitments. This recognition is the culmination of several years of work to structure, measure, and improve TSE's impact across all its activities."
