TSE confirms its position as a leading player with a new financing of €106 million for 15 solar farms

TSE secures €106 million in funding to develop 120 MW of solar farms in France

TSE, member of the French Tech 120 and a major player in the energy transition in France, announces the closing of a project financing of 106 million euros for the construction and operation of a portfolio of 15 photovoltaic and agrivoltaics parks representing a total power of 120 MW.

This financing was carried out in collaboration with the Caisse d'Épargne CEPAC, Crédit Agricole Transitions & Énergies (CA T&E) alongside the banks of the Crédit Agricole group1 and Bpifrance, historical partners in the development of renewable energies in France. TSE was supported by Astris Finance in the structuring and implementation of this financing.

The portfolio includes projects under additional remuneration with the Commission de Régulation de l'Énergie (CRE) as well as PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) projects. It also integrates several agrivoltaic shades dedicated to breeding and cultivation, demonstrating TSE's ability to create a synergy between agriculture and solar energy, thanks to installations designed for protect crops, improve animal welfare and optimize energy production.

Structuring financing to accelerate the energy transition

This fundraising confirms and accelerates TSE's development strategy, which aims to strengthen renewable energy production on the territory while supporting local sectors. Spread over several French regions, these 15 parks will produce each year green and renewable electricity equivalent to the consumption of more than 70,000 inhabitants. This portfolio confirms TSE's commitment tosustainable and decarbonized energy, in line with the national goals of carbon neutrality by 2050.

Frédéric NICOLAS, Deputy Chief Investment Officer of TSE :

“This operation illustrates TSE's ability to structure innovative financing to support the energy transition. With STMicroelectronics as an offtaker for a third of production and agricultural farms on trackers, we combine economic performance, sustainability and support for agriculture. This is a major step towards a more resilient and decarbonized energy mix. A warm thank you to the TSE teams as well as to all of our banking advisors and partners for their commitment and trust.”

Jérémy ESTRADER, Member of the Executive Board of Caisse d'Epargne CEPAC :

“Caisse d'Epargne CEPAC is pleased to support TSE on this new financing, which reflects the group's ambition in favor of the French energy transition. Agrivoltaics is a promising sector that should make it possible to redistribute the benefits of the development of renewable energies and to maintain agricultural activity in our territories. Increasing the share of renewable energies in the French energy mix requires these innovative solutions and their acceptability at the local level.”
