Who we are?

TSE has threefold ambition: to combat climate change, to support the agricultural transition, and to produce the lowest-cost carbon-free electricity to strengthen our energy independence.
TSE is an independent, 100% French solar energy developer and producer.
Since its founding in 2016, the company has combined photovoltaic innovation, agrivoltaics, a strong local presence, and industrial expertise. Our goal is to produce energy that is self-sufficient, competitive, carbon-free, and local, and that benefits farmers, businesses, and local communities.
Our vision
France must address several challenges at the same time:
- reduce its carbon emissions,
- secure its energy supply,
- protect its agriculture from climate change,
- enhance the attractiveness of its region,
- and maintain the competitiveness of its industry.
These issues can no longer be addressed separately. Photovoltaic energy provides a solution to all of these challenges related to strategic autonomy and daily life.
When well-designed, a solar power plant becomes an infrastructure asset for national sovereignty, producing competitive energy, serving as a tool for agricultural adaptation through agrivoltaics, and acting as a catalyst for local development.

Our model
TSE is involved across the entire value chain: land acquisition, development, engineering, R&D, financing, construction, utility connections, operations, and maintenance.
This integrated approach is essential. It enables us :
- to collaboratively build projects over the long term,
- foster relationships based on trust,
- maintain control over project quality,
- adapt solutions to local constraints,
- and ensure that the value created remains tied to the farmers and communities that host the facilities.

Our founders
Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship and convinced of the crucial role of photovoltaics in the future of energy in France, they created TSE to respond to a simple economic problem: to produce the least expensive carbon-free French energy while supporting the agricultural transition of French communities.
Their complementary backgrounds merged to give rise to an independent French company, with French capital, distributed as close as possible to stakeholders' needs (15 offices), resolutely committed to the French energy transition, combining innovation, technical expertise and environmental commitment.
Under the joint management of Mathieu and Pierre-Yves, TSE has established itself as the French expert in photovoltaics, and the reference in agrivoltaics.

Any questions ?
TSE is a 100% French, independent developer and producer of carbon-free energy, founded in 2016. Our solutions are built on quality, attentive service, and innovation. We develop photovoltaic and agrivoltaic power plants across France. TSE has become the benchmark for agrivoltaics in France, supplying electricity to major industrial partners such as Biomérieux, STMicroelectronics, Les Mousquetaires, Agrial, and Albea.
First, TSE solutions are based on innovation and quality, and are fully operational. Second, because TSE is a solid company that has raised 500 million euros since 2022 and is backed by public (BPI) and private (Eurazeo, Crédit Agricole, etc.) shareholders. Finally, because our projects go beyond just producing electricity. They are co-designed with the agricultural sector, local stakeholders, and businesses to ensure they are understood, accepted, and beneficial to the region. Our growth, our competitive electricity, our agronomic results, and our commitment to biodiversity demonstrate our expertise. TSE is a member of French Tech and is B Corp certifiedTM.
TSE develops and implements agrivoltaic and photovoltaic solutions, as well as competitive carbon-free electricity supply options for industrial companies and local authorities, notably through Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPAs).
TSE is built on a foundation of concrete evidence: an operational fleet and RTB equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 260,000 people, 1GWp built or under construction by 2027, 3GWp currently in development, and over 270 employees across 16 offices throughout France. With its 9 agrivoltaic power plants, TSE is the benchmark for agrivoltaics in France. TSE is a member of French Tech and is B Corp certified.TM.
Solar energy, qualified as green energy because it is not derived from fossil fuels, produces electricity that emits fewer greenhouse gases, remains at a stable price and secures a sustainable energy supply.
